List of Maharashtra Political Parties
There are around 18 main political parties in Maharashtra which have a strong influence among the voter in Maharashtra and around 20 local political parties. In 2019 look sabha election shive Shena formed state government with other national and state-level political parties. Maharashtra electoral have seen the close battle between BJP and other shiv shena with their alliance. BJP secured 23 seats, Shiv Shena got 18, but with the help of other political parties, they were able to form a government. In the era of Bal Thackrey, BJP and Shiv Shena had a strong relationship.
