Prime Minister of India
The Prime Minister of India is the head of the Government of India and He/she is appointed by the President of India after a political party win a Lok Sabha election and nominates a candidate for the post. Article 78 of the Indian constitution specifies the role and duties of the Prime Minister. Prime Minister is the leader of the cabinet ministers. The main executive powers of the government are given to Prime Minister while the President is the nominal head of the State.
